Royal Family Kid's Camp is a one week overnight camp held in Bellingham and designed to meet the unique and overwhelming needs of abused and neglected children from Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan and Island Counties. Children, ages 7 to 11 and who have a history of abuse and neglect, or who reside in foster care are eligible to attend.  This year's camp will be held the week of June 28 - July 2, 2010 Please contact us at 306-1410  or email us at Bellingham.rfkc@gmail.com if you would like additional information		One application recently said, "after 7 years of therapy, nothing has done more for my child than this one week of camp."  We give hope to the often forgotten kids that helps sustain them throughout the year.  For one week where the abused child feels deeply loved, affirmed & encouraged by wholesome, caring adults.  This year is our 18th camp and YES, one week does make a difference.  We have many many stories from families, social workers and from the kids themselves, telling us how this experience has changed their lives.
You can help provide a special summer camp experience for local children who are recovering from neglect and abuse.  It costs $275 to send a child to a week of camp. We can accept donations by check, cash or credit card. This year's Drive-By-Giving with the Soft Rock KAFE and Cruisin' Coffee is planned for  TODAY!!! Friday May 7th, 2010 Join us at any one of the 9 local Cruisin' Coffees....  We want to raise scholarships to send 74 kids in foster care to camp. AND we want to send 30 more to our new camp in Skagit County! Thank you Whatcom, Skagit, and Island County... you are simply awesome.
